Rotorua Climate Action Forum
Our focus is on strengthening the resilience of the Rotorua district in the face of climate change
Who we are?
The Rotorua Climate Action Forum is a coalition of the willing – a non-partisan group of people who are committed to climate change mitigation and adaptation.
We are scientists, farmers, professionals, Iwi and community leaders, and many others from all walks of life and every part of the political spectrum. We have come together to ensure the Rotorua district has an inclusive and proactive approach to climate change mitigation and adaptation as part of its resilience building.
We aim to achieve our objectives through information dissemination, networking, influencing decision-makers and supporting initiatives that build resilience against climate change.
The science is irrefutable. Climate change is here and we need to act now.
